Project Tuesday: Tri-fold Card/Book

Hi everyone! It's time to see what's happening at Project Tuesday this week! I had so much fun making this little scrapbook - you can also use this fold to make an extra special card.

I've been meaning to make Shanan a book he can keep on his desk at work for awhile now - and this had all the pockets and little spaces I needed to display photos of our furballs.

This is the cover - wait till you see how much is jam packed in this little baby!

I've used a magnetic snap to keep my book closed - it works great (even with how full it is!)

This is the center portion of the book when it's opened right up - there's another image panel on the back of the front cover I'll show you at the end. These two panels are actually pockets - very cute!
Here's my pocket inserts - two of our favourite photos of the "kids". I've used some lined paper from the Notebook pack (used throughout) on the back of these for journalling. The pockets also flip down so you see....

Isn't that cool? So many spaces to embellish! I counted and including the cover I have 16 photos in this wee book!
Here's the back of the front panel. The colour scheme throughout is Soft Sky, Kraft and Kiwi Kiss. I've kept embellishment to a minimum, just using white rub-ons mostly.

Head on over to Project Tuesday to see what the rest of the design team have come up with, and to get the instructions to make your own card or book - I hope you'll play along this week!

  11. Sarah, I love this book! When I first saw it, it actually took my breath away. Your one fur baby looks so much like my Emma, my fur baby that I had to have put to sleep just a little over a week ago. Emma was a Persian and a total sweetheart. Give your babies an extra hug from me!

  12. Sarah I just love your take on this week's project. The more I look at it the more I like it. Love that you used a magnet to close it - clever, and your colours are simply beautiful. I could see pictures of my grandsons in this colour scheme too.

  13. Awww Melanie *hugs* I'm so sorry for the loss of your furbaby, it's such an awful thing to have to go through. If you haven't read it, I love this poem... http://www.petloss.com/poems/maingrp/rainbowb.htm ...but have a tissue handy.

  15. Hello! The only cat we have ever owned is one that came with the house when we bought it! It was a farm cat ... and he was just a quiet little black cat who came and went as he pleased. Sometimes he would come home for dinner ... sometimes he obviously found his own food on the farm. He LOVED to sit on your lap on our swing seat ... BUT ... he had a very bad habit of drooling all over your lap!!! :D My DH loathes cats ... and only tolerated "Prancer" because he did a great job keeping the mice out of the house! One day he went walk-a-bout as he was prone to do ... and never came back. I think it was just time for him to go away to die??? We didn't have any idea how old he was ... and me and my kids felt really sad when after a few days we realised he wasn't coming home again! We have very special memories of our little man! xxx
