Peek-a-boo Trio Pull Card

It's time for the amazing VIP collection from MFT! Be sure to head on over and grab yours quickly, once they are sold out you'll have to wait for the fab new products to launch next month!

Halloween isn't really a big holiday in New Zealand, so I'm showing the versatility of these stamps and created a lovey card. The Peek-a-boo Trio Die-namics is PERFECT for creating a card with a little added movement.

I created a window with acetate and covered up two of the other windows with designer paper. 

My image was coloured with Copics and trimmed down to slide under the Peek-a-Boo Trio Die-namics piece.

For the inside of the card, I repeated the sentiment (which I cut apart for ease of use) and added a sentiment from the exclusive set that comes with this VIP collection.

New Product Tour August!

Welcome! I have a bunch of projects to show you today, in differing styles....but first....all those GORGEOUS new products you've been drooling over are available HERE now!!!

Today I'm going to be sharing projects using the awesome new Triple Scoop set - Clearly Sentimental about Grandparents. This set could be yours FREE when you spend $60 in the MFT store!

I was so pleased to see this set. Both my parents and parents in law became grandparents for the first time when our Jackson was born, so I know I'll be using this one a lot!

First up is a girly set, perfect for any Grandma!

I created this card using papers from the Miss Nelly pack by Kaisercraft. I've used some of my favourite new Die-namics, the gorgeous Layered Rose and one of the Triple Scallop Borders.

To make the flower extra fluffy, I rolled the flowers in my hands to break up the fibers in the cardstock, then carefully seperated each petal. Start with a nice thick cardstock when you do this and go slow! I love that the Layered Rose cuts so many pieces all at once!

Inside my card I used the Triple Scallop Border again, and used the Sweet Stack Labels for my sentiment.

For the bookmark, I used the Bookmark Duo Die-namics and added my sentiment on a Fishtail Flag STAX. I topped my bookmark with another fluffy rose!

For my next card, I wanted to use Clearly Sentimental about Grandparents to make a card fit for any grandfather!

I created a border with the Hexagon Die-namics. I've used the Fishtail Flags again (I love these dies!) for my sentiment.

I anchored the flag with another Hexagon, and embellished with a button and a hammer from the Tool Charms Die-namics. I cut it twice and layered the pieces together for a multi-coloured hammer.

Inside I've used the new Double Dot Border - love this for guy cards!

I also added a screwdriver from the Tool Charms set.

For my last card today, I couldn't resist inking up the new Mouse in the House It's Your Birthday set.

The papers on this card are also Kaisercraft. I used the new Lead the Way Die-namics to stamp my sentiment on. I've stamped the image on a Rounded Banner STAX layer.

Isn't she just the sweetest? My colouring still needs a LOT of work, but I had fun colouring this in!

Inside this card I've used the Double Dot Border and Sweet Stack Labels again. I love using Die-namics to cover up the raw edges of patterened paper, it gives such a finished look to your project!

Magnetic Bookmark Tutorial

Loads of Love

Yippee, it's Pure Innocence Day! Today the MFT crew is teasing you with five gorgeous new PI sets. I've used Loads of Love for my card today. Laundry is something that takes up a good portion of my time these days. Jackson is two months old and I'm sure we've done more laundry in the past two months than we usually would in a year!

Isn't she darling? I'm sure I'd enjoy laundry more if I had an apron like that! I colured this cutie with Copics and cut her out with the new Designer Labels 4 Die-namics (product links at the end of this post - new products available Aug 7th!)

I used the Hearts a Plenty Die-namics and the new Lead the Way Die-namics to add some embellishment. I used Crystal Effects to add some shine to the heart. Here's the inside of my card...

I've used the Well Worn Greetings Die-namics to add a little something to the inside of my card.

So Polished!

It's day five of My Favorite Things teasers - I'm sure you've been enjoying all the gorgeous eye candy from the design team! Today is a la mode day, the flirty girls are back, and today I have a card made with Polished to Perfection!

Rather than colour the whole image, I chose to spotlight the polish bottle. I coloured with copics and added some shine with a glaze pen. My spotlight piece and border were cut with the Circle STAX Die-namics (product links at the end of this post).

You can just see a teeny part of one of the Triple Scallop Borders peeking out from behind my main panel. I've been enamoured with my corner rounder lately, have you noticed?

I cut my layered rose from vellum, I'm loving the subtle look this gives embellishments at the moment.

Inside my card I've stamped a second sentiment and used the medium size of the Triple Scallop Border.

All-Star!

Welcome! Today for My Favorite Things teasers, I have another very clean and simple card using the new Jersey stamp set and matching Die-namics. Today I've used a bright and fresh colour palette rather than the muted colours from yesterdays card.

All the time on this card went into the focal point, the jersey. I cut out the trim parts from white card and used white embossing powder for the stamped portions to give the effect of a printed jersey. The new Double Dot border Die-namics is just perfect for a CAS embellishment. I finished off with a big Banana Split Ribbon bow!
