Best Day

Welcome! It's day three of MFT Teasers and today I have a sample using Birthday Sentiments. This will be the Triple Scoop set this month, yours free with a $60 purchase!

When I saw this card from the fabulous Laurie, I knew I wanted to try using water colour crayons over an embossed white sentiment. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink, embossed with white powder and used SU! crayons in a range of pinks to scribble over top before washing with a water brush.

I cut the new Party Banner Die-namics from a patterned paper scrap and Razzleberry cardstock. I overlayed the top of the banner with Washi Tape. The card base is Blu Raspberry cardstock - fast becoming my new favourite colour!

Inside my card I stamped the sentiments with the new Blu Raspberry ink and Razzleberry. Another Party Banner finishes it all off!

Hi everyone! Welcome to the second day of MFT teasers! Today we're showing samples made with the new Laina Lamb stamps and Die-namics! I have a couple of journalling cards from a Project Life layout I'll be showing you soon!

I've used a TON of Laina Lamb Stamps and Laina Lamb Die-namics, as well as the new goodies, so I encourage you to check out the links at the end of this post for all the amazing products!

How cute is that guitar from the new Accent It - Rock and Roll Die-namics!? I've stamped the sentiments and used washi tape and stitching to accent.

There's my cute little guy! For this card I've used the Insta-frame Die-namics and accented with a guitar pick, I think that sentiment is adorable!

On this card I've hidden a journalling panel by popping the photo up on foam dots.

This is the new Cassette Tape Die-namics - check out that detail!!! It's SO fun to make little tapes, though it makes me laugh, I don't think my son will ever see a real one!

March Diva Inspirations Hop

Hello! Thanks for stopping by! Today I'm hopping along with the rest of the Verve Inspirations Divas and we're bringing you a bunch of inspirational projects using previously released Verve stamps and dies!

I LOVE the stamp set I've used today - Brighter Days. I used one of my favourite Verve dies, the Curvy Bookplate. I cut out the ribbon from the center of the sentiment, coloured it with Copics and popped it up on a foam dot.

I stamped the arrow in Riding Hood Red ink and cut it with the Arrow die. The edges of my panel are sponged with Antique Linen Distress ink.

I stamped the largest flower in the set four times, colouring with copics and fussy cutting before putting it back together with foam dots.

I also used the Leafy Sprigs die along with a co-ordinating stamp from the Sunny Days stamp set.

I repeated the sentiment treatment from the front of my card and this time I cut the smaller two flowers with the co-ordinating Scalloped Flowers dies.

Poppy Gift Set

Welcome! today marks the start of teasers for the My Favorite Things March release. Today we're previewing the latest set and Die-namics from the amazing Lisa Johnson Designs line.

I have a gift set I put together for my Mother in Law's birthday which happens to be today!

I've created three 3x3 notecards and packaged them up in a new box that works with the Trapezoid Treat Die-namics!

Do you see that new cardstock? That's Electric Red - a gorgeous red that is fast becoming a favourite of mine! 

 and yes, those are Electric Red buttons, and there is also new ribbon and ink - love!

I've gone with different layouts using different stamps for each notecard. The poppies are stamped in Wild Cherry ink and they leaves are in the new Gumdrop Green. For two of the cards, I punched a recess and added an Electric Red button. 

This is the inside of all three of the cards - how lovely is that sentiment?

This is the new flower box, that fits perfectly with the Trapezoid Treat Die-namics. I've sponged mine lightly with Kraft ink and cut out the poppy and leaves using the matching Die-namics. The sentiment is stamped on a Fishtail Flag STAX that I ran through my big shot twice, to get an embossed edge all the way around.

I packaged up the whole ensemble in a cellophane bag with a big Electric Red bow!

The Smallest Things

Yay! Today marks the first day I'm officially a Verve Diva! It's also the first day of the March Virtual Stamp Night at Splitcoaststampers. If you haven't played in a VSN before, the aim is to make your card in 45 minutes following a set challenge! 

This challenge was to doodle on your card. I used a blue marker and doodled a couple of frames and some dots.
I've used The Smallest Things plain jane, stamped on a Curvy Bookplate die. I hand cut a mat for the sentiment layer and my edges are sponged with Antique Linen ink.

I used some of my hoarded Chocolate Chip satin ribbon for a big bow, I love this stuff!
