Rock On!
*This is my second post for the day, you'll find my first post here*
Hi everyone! Welcome to the second day of MFT teasers! Today we're showing samples made with the new Laina Lamb stamps and Die-namics! I have a couple of journalling cards from a Project Life layout I'll be showing you soon!
I've used a TON of Laina Lamb Stamps and Laina Lamb Die-namics, as well as the new goodies, so I encourage you to check out the links at the end of this post for all the amazing products!
How cute is that guitar from the new Accent It - Rock and Roll Die-namics!? I've stamped the sentiments and used washi tape and stitching to accent.
There's my cute little guy! For this card I've used the Insta-frame Die-namics and accented with a guitar pick, I think that sentiment is adorable!
On this card I've hidden a journalling panel by popping the photo up on foam dots.
This is the new Cassette Tape Die-namics - check out that detail!!! It's SO fun to make little tapes, though it makes me laugh, I don't think my son will ever see a real one!
Here are the wonderful My Favorite Things goodies I've used today:

Family
Today I wanted to share with you a project I had published in NZ Paper Chase last year. Generally, I stick to card making, but for this project I broke out my Die-namics and created a home decor 12x12 layout.
I had fun going through my supplies and gathering up a bunch of different items that would work well together. The sentiment is from Clearly Sentimental about Family and the panel was heavily sponged with distress ink.
The text paper is from SU! and the other papers are from the Lost and Found Two collection in Sunshine.
I hand dyed the seam binding ribbon, and also the High Tea Party Doily layer with Distress inks by misting with water and applying the ink pad directly before scrunching and drying. I've used some of my all time fave Die-namics on this project, including the Rosette, Faux Crochet Border and Fancy Flourish.
It might be hard to tell from the photo, but the base layer was spritzed with Gold Glimmermist. Various hardware from my stash finished off the layout.
I hope to find time to make more projects like this - I might have time when our boy starts pre-school, right?!
Here are the Die-namics I've used today:
Thanks for stopping by!

Project Tuesday: Tri-fold Card/Book
Hi everyone! It's time to see what's happening at Project Tuesday this week! I had so much fun making this little scrapbook - you can also use this fold to make an extra special card.I've been meaning to make Shanan a book he can keep on his desk at work for awhile now - and this had all the pockets and little spaces I needed to display photos of our furballs.
This is the cover - wait till you see how much is jam packed in this little baby!
I've used a magnetic snap to keep my book closed - it works great (even with how full it is!)
This is the center portion of the book when it's opened right up - there's another image panel on the back of the front cover I'll show you at the end. These two panels are actually pockets - very cute!
Here's my pocket inserts - two of our favourite photos of the "kids". I've used some lined paper from the Notebook pack (used throughout) on the back of these for journalling. The pockets also flip down so you see....
Isn't that cool? So many spaces to embellish! I counted and including the cover I have 16 photos in this wee book!
Here's the back of the front panel. The colour scheme throughout is Soft Sky, Kraft and Kiwi Kiss. I've kept embellishment to a minimum, just using white rub-ons mostly.Head on over to Project Tuesday to see what the rest of the design team have come up with, and to get the instructions to make your own card or book - I hope you'll play along this week!
