Happy Howlidays!

Hi friends! I have a card for some of my fave challenges today. Curtain Call has a fab inspiration, Christmas Countdown, and the Retro Sketches layout was just my style!

It's also challenge time at There She Goes - this week we're making Christmas cards using critters! I had to ink up the adorable Pugalicious, I just love this little guy!

Here's the inside...

Despite my happy card, I do have some sad news to share. Jessica has made the difficult decision to close There She Goes and focus on her beautiful family. I have so loved being a part of this team - I always wanted to be a Trendsetter and can't thank Jessica and Jessie enough for letting me join this amazing group of women!

Head on over to the TSG Blog to see some gorgeous inspiration from the design team!

Nordic Borders is a 2x6 set that includes a total of 3 stamps and will see for $3. It will be released on Saturday, November 30th at 11pmEST.

I started by stamping my card base with gorgeous stamps from Nordic Borders in white ink. I added some of the snowflakes from Merry Christ-moose as well. I love this adorable image! Torico is amazing!

Inside I've used the fun Nice Rack set - love it!

Be Merry Blog Hop Challenge

Good morning! It's time for the third day of sneak peeks for There She Goes!

Our second set from new illustrator Danielle Lounds finds us celebrating the holidays with her unique style of combining handwritten sentiments, with super cute images.

Be Merry is a 4x8 set that includes a total of 9 stamps and will sell for $18.00. It will be released on Saturday, November 30th at 11pm EST.

I wanted to do something a little different for my card today. I stamped the ornament, then trimmed it out with a craft knife. Behind I created a little acetate pocket filled with sequins, snowflakes and glitter. Of course they all fall to the bottom when it's standing like this, here's a different angle..

Did you spot that double scallop border under the ribbon? So simple to do with the Snowman Soup die.

Just cut, then reposition the paper, secure with tape and cut again. You can make it any width you choose!

The inside is really simple, mostly showing off the paper I wanted to peek through the window.

'Tis the Season Blog Hop Challenge

This is my second post today - for my Fresh Squeezed Stamps teaser post, please click here.

Welcome! It's day two of teasers for There She Goes!
A full set of fun from artist Wendy Leach, 'Tis the Season features our favorite sock goblin, but lots of other winter accessories to go along with it! This whimsical and fun holiday set is sure to be a favorite.

Tis the Season is a 6x8 set that includes a total of 12 stamps and will sell for $24. It will be released on Saturday, November 30th at 11pm EST.

I've used the large ornament and tree images to create a card and matching tag...

You'll spot that Snowman Soup die again (and tomorrow I'll show you a new way to use it!) I just love the size of those scallops.

I stitched a diagonal panel onto the background of my card. Coloured with copics, and it's hard to see in the photo, but I dotted the ornaments with a glaze pen.

Inside I've used a tag layer, and I also created a matching tag...

Dare To Jump is a 4x6 set that includes a total of 9 stamps and will sell for $15.00. It will be released on Saturday, November 30th at 11pm EST.

I knew exactly what I wanted to do as soon as I saw this set! I've heat embossed the figure skater using a sparkly gold embossing powder (no stray glitter, yay!)

The oval is sponged, I've used the Snowman Soup dies for the scalloped edge and finished with some stitching.

Here's the inside...

Square File Folder Card with Hidden Magnetic Closure - Video!

Hi friends! I have another file folder card and video tutorial to share today using the Envelope Punch Board from W R Memory Keepers. I've seen so many regular sized file cards with this tool, but I wanted to make a square version AND include a hidden magnetic closure, here's what I came up with...

I love the little tabs at the top just begging you to open the card!

My stamps today are from There She Goes, Season's Greetings. It's There She Goes Again week and the Trendsetters are all sharing creations made with some fab Christmas sets. Be sure to go visit and see all the amazing inspiration!

I just love that vintage Santa! I coloured with copics, fussy cut and added stickles accents on the robe trim and the stars. I'm playing along with the Merry Monday challenge to use trees and bling (does glitter count as bling?! I hope so!)

Here's the video on how to make this card base...

View full size on You Tube here.

Here's the inside of my card...

Christmas sentiments don't get any more perfect than that!

Thank you for visiting - if this is your first time, I'd love if you'd become a follower and like my facebook page (links in the sidebar) I'll be having a giveaway for followers very soon!

Wildflower Thanks

Hello! It's There She Goes Challenge time, and this week Tracy M. has challenged us to make thank you or thanksgiving cards. I've used Give Thanks from the last release for my card.

Can you spot another product from the last release? That scalloped border is from the Snowman Soup dies - I'll be using it as a border a lot, it's the perfect size!

I stamped the leaves in a very dark brown and fussy cut. The sentiment is heat embossed on the flag in a similar colour to the paper - I think you might see more tone on tone embossing from me, I kinda like it! The papers are Wildflower by Carta Bella and I LOVE them. So unique!

The layout is the fab Deconstructed Sketch 126.

Here's the inside...

I really love that silhouette image, especially stamped off the edge like this. Bold and beautiful!

Pattern Power!

Hi there! I'm back tonight with a card for the There She Goes challenge. It's my turn to host this week, and I'm challenging you to use pattern power! Use both Stripes AND dots on your card today.

I love mixing and matching patterned papers. Today I've used what I think might be my fave collection this year, Persimmon by Basic Grey.

I coloured the cute owl from You're a Hoot in neutral tones. Instead of using my machine, I used the fun In Stitches set to stamp all my stitching on this card. I'm also playing along with the Paper Players Wildlife challenge.

Here's the inside...

I love that little silhouette image!

So Thankful

Happy Monday! I'm starting the week with a card full of thankfulness. The There She Goes challenge this week is to use leaves!

I've used the newly released Happy Fall stamp set today. I was inspired by the City Crafter Challenge to use Pumpkins, and the JUGS challenge which is this gorgeous photo...

I coloured with copics, adding lots of piercing, sponging and distressing.

Here's the inside...

How sweet is that little pinecone? I hope you'll join us over at the There She Goes Blog this week for your chance to win a little something-something to go shopping with!
