Shabby Riley + Copic Colour Key

It's time for another Riley challenge! Heather has challenged us to create a shabby chic card with at least seven layers. I've been promising to tell you the Riley colours I use, so read on for the next installment in my Copic Colour Key series.

I love this Good Luck Riley image, it's one of my faves. Riley was coloured with copics then fussy cut. I added lots of embellishments, rolled flowers, stickles, a stick pin and some seam binding ribbon.

Please feel free to save this image to your computer and use it as a reference.

Inside my card I have used some off cuts of the patterned paper and shadow stamped my image again.

Please visit the rest of the moose-mates (links on the sidebar) and see their gorgeous creations!

 Thanks for stopping by!

MFT Teasers - Talk Nerdy To Me

I'm so excited to share my card with you today - the new à la modes are adorable! Today I'm using Talk Nerdy To Me, I had a blast colouring this cutie at 4am one morning (insomnia - ick!)

Spot the new die-namic! The newest in our tab range, the ticket tab made its way onto my card. I've stamped part of the sentiment on the front of the card...

...and the entire sentiment on a layered label die on the inside.

I remembered to note down my colours, so here's the next installment in my Copic Colour Key series - feel free to save this image for easy reference!

Elegant Sunflower Girl

It's day three of teasers for MFT - otherwise known as Pure Innocence day! Every month we release five new PI sets, and every month they are just adorable! My card today uses the cute-as-a-button Sunflower Girl.

I thought her little dress looked quite formal, so I went for an elegant look. I've used the new Bracket Tab for my sentiment - and yup, that's a new rolled flower - it's called the Retro Rolled Flower!

I'm brand new to Copic colouring having bought my first markers a few months ago and so appreciate all the wonderful bloggers out there that show their colour combos. I always forget to write down my colours when I'm in the creative zone, so thought I'd make an effort every now and then and create a little resource for anyone who like me, likes to see what colours others are working with.

I don't claim to be anywhere near an expert when it comes to Copics or colouring but I hope this helps someone! I often get emails about Copics and what colours to buy so hopefully this will give you some ideas and it might be helpful to see what a fellow newbie is using. Please feel free to save this image to your computer (right click and choose save as). Over time I hope to have a collection of these Copic colour keys I can pop in a document for you to download.

Inside my card I've used more of those gorgeous Out of Print papers by Basic Grey and one of my fave Die-namic sets, Well Worn Greetings.
