Hello Out There!

Hello! I thought I'd pop in quickly today, I finally got inky! And when I say finally, I mean this is only the second time in months and months. Today I'm 32 weeks pregnant and boy oh boy...it's been a rough ride this time around! Speaking of boys...

I can't wait to meet our little bundle of joy! Maybe THEN the morning sickness will stop!

I've been so tired this pregnancy that crafting seemed like too much work. I also had to relocate all my stuff (and is there ever a lot of it) to make room for baby, so my craft area was in disarray for months. A few months ago I got a gorgeous big package from Verve though, and I finally got to dip in and play with my new goodies!

I started small with a tag. It's hard to get inky when you're out of practice! The stamps here are from the gorgeous Beautiful Things stamp set, I've also used the matching dies as well as the Dreamy Leaves and Pennant Trim dies

I used a stencil from MFT and some embossing paste as well as lots of distress products on the base of the tag. The ink colours were Abandoned Coral, Festive Berries and Fired Brick with Walnut Stain edges. The seam binding is from Verve.

It feels good to give my poor neglected blog a little love, not to mention my craft supplies. Thanks for letting me share!

Reverse Confetti New Release Blog Hop!

woohoo! The new Reverse Confetti release is in store and available for purchase now

You can find all the new goodies right here. You should have made it here from Kay's blog, if you need to start at the beginning of the hop, you should jump on over to the Reverse Confetti blog

Every year it seems I forget at least one present and need a gift tag super fast. If you're like me, I have you covered! I've used the new Holly Jolly Quick Card Panels and Gift Card Holder Tag Confetti Cuts to create a couple of tags perfect for those last minute gifts you still want to have a handmade touch.

That gorgeous new Gift Card Holder Tag Confetti Cuts? Yup, the exact size to cut a fabulous tag from one of the amazing quick card panels with no waste! Love that! I've used the accent pieces to decorate the top of the tags and stamped the to/from in the With Love stamp set.

I finished my tag tops with the fun Hang Ups Confetti Cuts

I couldn't resist decorating a frosted pillow box to match. I used a quick card panel, cutting strips to wrap around the pillow box then finishing with a Hang Ups embellishment and Holly Confetti Cuts.

It's time to head over and visit with Laurie now - happy hopping and shopping!

Countdown to Confetti - Topped Off Tag!

There's a new Reverse Confetti release just around the corner - woohoo! Also just around the corner, the Crazy for Christmas event - stay tuned for that!

Today we're looking at a fabulous new Confetti Cuts set - the Topped Off Tag

This fun die set let me create a tag set so easily - I die cut the Topped Off Tag and new Hang Ups Confetti Cuts in four semi solid papers. I also cut some large circles with the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts

I used the new With Love stamp set for all the sentiments.

I couldn't resist pairing this fresh baked sentiment with the Easy as Pie Confetti Cuts! Too adorable!

I embellished each of the tags with the same heart from Love Note and white enamel dots for a cohesive look.

Be sure to stop by the Reverse Confetti blog and hop around with everyone today for your chance to be in to win some Reverse Confetti moohlah!

Countdown to Confetti - Folded Tag!

It's day two of peeks for the March Reverse Confetti release!

Today we're taking a look at the Folded Tag Sentiments stamp set and Folded Tag Confetti Cuts. This is a little gem of a die, it's like a card and tag in one! Love that! I'll have a video later in the week to show off this fun combo even more.

Here I've added a Folded Tag to a Tagged Tote, filled with kisses. I just love the bold sentiment stamps in this set - there's something for every occasion.

You can stamp another sentiment inside the tag, and there's still plenty of room for a handwritten message!

I decorated the front of my Tagged Tote with the new Double Edge Wonky Scallop Border Confetti Cuts and the Double Banner Garland Confetti Cuts. These dies are so versatile!

Make sure you hop over to the Reverse Confetti blog for the full list of designers with goodies to show off today - leave a comment on each stop for a chance to win someReverse Confetti moolah!

25 Days of Christmas Tags!

Today I'm excited to be joining some of the Reverse Confetti crew and Tracey McNeely for her 25 Days of Christmas Tags event!

There are prizes to be won each day, so make sure you stop over and see all the gorgeous tags!

I got a little distressed with my tag! I heat embossed a stripe from So Stripey and a sentiment from Tinsel 'n Trim. After embossing, I used a distressing tool to rough up the edges, and also remove some of the embossing powder.

The tag base is from Tag Me Too and I embellished with some gold Let it Snow and Circle Garland Confetti Cuts

Reverse Confetti New Release Blog Hop + Video!

Well, the holidays are right around the corner and REVERSE CONFETTI has just released a collection of new products that will help get you in a festive mood and give you a jumpstart on your holiday crafting!

With 4 stamp sets and 7 new Confetti Cuts dies/sets, there’s plenty to choose from. You can even sprinkle your projects with a little donut love without having to go up a jean size! So put on some of your favorite music (Christmas, perhaps?), sit back and join us for our new release blog hop

The hop started over on the ReverseConfetti blog, and you should have made it here from Laurie’sblog. It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see using all the new Reverse Confetti stamp sets and dies!

I have a couple of things to share today - using the fab new Donut You Know Confetti cuts! I'll also share a quick video giving you a closer look at this fun die set!

My first project is a tag - the base is Tag Me, Too and I've cut it a few times, stitching the pieces together for a longer tag. The sentiment is from Seasonal Sentiments and I used the Donut You Know Confetti Cuts to create a Christmas pudding! The holly is from the North Pole Wishes Confetti Cuts.

You can see how easy it was to create the pudding in this video...

My second project is a little box...with a surprise gift inside! I've used both the Donut You Know stamps and Confetti Cuts on this one - the box is the fabulous Tagged Tote. I added some stitched detail and the sentiment is stamped on the flag from Tag Me.

Inside is a teeny donut pincushion! I stitched the frosting and sprinkles to one layer of the donut, stitched it together inside out and turned the right way before stuffing. Felt is tricky, and the stitches are visible but I still think it's cute (and you may be a much better seamstress than I am!)

I hope you’ve enjoyed hopping with us today. Be sure and hop with us on the 8th of EVERY MONTH for more REVERSE CONFETTI inspiration! Now it’s time to hop on over to Susan’s blog

If you get lost along the way, you can find the hop order and list of all the participating designers over on the Reverse Confetti blog.
