Reverse Confetti Blog Hop! Video!

Hello! Great news, the Reverse Confetti mini release is available NOW! You can check it out here!

We're hopping today - you should have made it here from Amy's blog, but you can start at the beginning of the hop by jumping over to the Reverse Confetti blog! There's a $15 gift certificate up for grabs, so be sure to leave comments along the way!

Today I'm going to share a few projects using the new Envie Wrap Confetti Cuts, Roundabout Stamp Set and Roundabout Additions stamp set as well as a video with even more uses for the Envie Wrap!

I created a fun birthday card and envelope set using the same embellishments and extras and almost the same layout. I love how fabulous these products look on cards as well! The extra Confetti Cuts are the Love Note set, and the Circles 'n Scallops, which works perfectly with the Envie Wrap!

The lettering on this envelope was stamped with the Lighthearted Letters set.

Don't you love those bold graphic circle sentiments!

I also thought the Envie Wrap would make a fun hanging treat wrapper! I can see these on the tree holding candy canes - maybe numbered as an advent calendar?

Here's my video on the awesome Envie Wrap, I also show a cute treat bag topper in this one!

It's time to hop along and visit with Heather now. I know she'll have some inspiring goodies to share! Happy shopping!

Reverse Confetti Mini Release! Hanging Out + Video!

Yippee! I'm so excited that today we're peeking a MINI release from Reverse Confetti!

My project today uses a brand new and MUST HAVE Confetti Cuts die - Hanging Out! I love this die!

I created a halloween door hanger using the new Cast a Spell stamps and matching Confetti Cuts along with the Spooky Sentiments set. The cauldron, hat and lettering are filled in with a black wink of stella pen (but do you think I could get it to sparkle for the photo!?)

I shot a quick video to show you just how this fun die works...

Be sure to head on over to the Reverse Confetti blog for a full list of designers today - you'll also get to see the other new products as you hop along! More on those and another video tomorrow!

Leave comments along the way for a chance to win $15 to spend on some Reverse Confetti of your own!

October Diva Inspirations Hop! (win!)

Welcome to Verve's October Diva Inspirations Hop. It's the 5th of the month and that means it's time for the Divas to serve up some fresh inspiration with their Verve stamps! Leave some comment love along the hop spots for a chance to win a prize, then grab some stamps and play along with our October inspiration challenge for another chance to win!

This month's challenge is entitled Fall Fancy:

The air is crisp and the colors are warm – celebrate fall with a spook-tacular creation or a thoughtful thank you using Fall as your inspiration!

You should have arrived from Sankari's blog!

I used all the gorgeous rich colors and foliage in the photo as my inspiration today - and mixed and matched lots of fun Verve products! I think something about the warmth of Fall colors just reminds me of curling up with a great cup of coffee!

The stamp set is the fabulous Coffee with the matching Cuppa Joe Cut Above Dies and Coffee Word Die. I've used the Sprightly Sprigs for my foliage, and also the wonderful  Rounded Scallop Frame Die and Rounded Rectangle Die. The border is the lovely Pennant Trim and I've finished with some Signature Sequins.

It's time to go visit with Sony now! But leave a comment to be in to win first!

Need a little inspiration? Check out the blogs linked below to see what the other Divas did with the challenge! It's sure to be a treat, and speaking of treats, we've got a prize for one lucky commenter along the hop! Check out the Verve Blog today for all the prize info and deadlines!

Thankful for...World Card Making Day!

Before I show you my card....RUN to iheartpapers.com - there's just a little bit of time to get in on the FLASH sale for World Card Making day - awesome goodies up to 50% off - Shop HERE

Ok, now that's done - here's my card! IHP now carries Winnie and Walter (yeah!) so I wanted to play along in one of their WCMD challenges. I chose the Pattern Play challenge. I love patterned paper, and love mixing and matching!

I've used the A Tree For All Seasons stamp set paired with the Burlap and Bouquet papers. There's something about that geometric print that reminded me of the leaves or tree. I coloured each leaf with two copics and stamped the trunk in Memento Luxe Espresso Truffle.

The Finished Frames dies added a little extra detail to the rectangular panels and I die cut a leaf with the Large Leaves die. The sentiment is stamped in Papaya ink.  How sweet is that little bird stamped on the tree?! I love all the little extra stamps in this set!

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you got some crafty time this weekend!

Seeing Red! Christmas is Coming...

Whew...after a few tough weeks of being under the weather, we're finally all well in the Gough household! I've been able to get some time in my stamp room...bliss!

The current Catered Crop Recipe Swap is Seeing Red - use red on your project! Here's the gorgeous inspiration pic...

And here's my card using lots of goodies from i {heart} papers!

This is my first Christmas card of the year. I always say I'm going to hand stamp them all...and always fail! Maybe this year?!

I've used the new Snow Day stamps and matching Snow Day papers from Lawn Fawn. I've also used the Scripty Joy word die - covering it in layers of stickles and glossy accents. The trees and sentiments were stamped with Memento Luxe in Olive.

Those great rectangles are from the Finished Frames dies by Avery Elle. I finished with some Lawn Fawn snowflake sequins from last year.

You can see all the wonderful new stock at IHP right here! I'll hope you'll join us this round at Catered Crop!

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge: Smooch!

It's time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!

We have a new sponsor, Paper Smooches, for the Curtain Call Inspiration: Smooch!  A randomly selected participant in the Smooch challenge will be awarded a $25 gift certificate to the Paper Smooches store, while the LEAD of the challenge will be invited as a guest designer for a future challenge!

I loved the watercolor look of the inspiration graphic, so watercolored the image from Blossoming Buds with distress markers in lipstick shades. I love the floral cluster so much I kept the rest of the card simple - a vellum overlay on a woodgrain base. This a really gorgeous set to work with!

Make sure you visit each of the designers' blogs for more inspiration!

Fall Fun!

I absolutely love being one of the Curtain Call Crew - it's a blast! not only do we have amazing challenges and the best team ever - Stacey organises fun swaps every now and then! The latest was a Fall theme and I was lucky enough to receive lots of goodies from the FABULOUS Amy Sheffer

This card features lots of Sweater Weather goodies from Simple Stories. I've just taught myself to knit, so the knit print paper made me squeal! And how cute is that fox?! The little leaves are from Paper Smooches Large Leaves die - I'll be using that one a lot, thanks Amy!

Here's a peek inside the card...

Amy also sent me some fabulous Tim Holtz halloween goodies and I made this little gift bag...

I love that the die set cuts out different portions of the web - I popped up the center of the web and the spider just for fun.

Thanks for stopping by!

September Color Challenge!

Hello! I'm popping in tonight with my take on the current sketch challenge from Reverse Confetti!

It's been a lonnnnng week with a very sick little boy (there's a nasty stomach virus going around here) and very little stamping time. It was so fun to steal a few minutes to get inky!

My card started with So Stripey. I created a plaid panel using the thick stripe and the thin stripes in pink, yellow and grey Memento Luxe ink. I bordered with gray cardstock and stamped my sentiment from In A Big Way on a vellum circle cut with Circles 'n Scallops.
