Countdown to Confetti Day Two + Video!

Hello! Welcome back to day two of peeks at the Reverse Confetti release. I'm so excited to share a little more info about one of the new Confetti Cuts today - the Tassel Confetti Cuts

This is SUCH a fun die! I'm also using the new Hello Confetti Cuts and the Color Me Happy stamp set.

I've had this kraft pillow box saved since Christmas, waiting for a chance to pretty it up. I thought it would look great with a Tassel embellishment - and I found some kraft tissue paper so it was meant to be!

Here's a quick video on how easy it is to create with the Tassel Confetti Cuts. Make sure you check out all the ways the Confetti Crew are using them this week!

View full size on You Tube here.

For the hello die cut I layered three cut pieces of green cardstock, and slightly offset a fourth for a little shadow effect.

Click here to link up your challenge entries

Challenge deadline: Sunday, Apr. 19.

I used my all time fave baby set today, To The Moon. I coloured the little elephant with copics and framed him in a Rounded Scallop Frame. I kept the embellishment simple with some stamped hearts in peach and a matching enamel heart. I think this would work for a baby girl or boy!

Need a little inspiration? Check out the blogs linked below to see what the other Divas did with the challenge! It's sure to be a treat, and speaking of treats, we've got a prize for one lucky commenter along the hop! Check out the Verve Blog today for all the prize info and deadlines!

Countdown to Confetti! Leaping Lions!

Are you excited? It's Reverse Confetti countdown time! We're having a special release this month, and it is jam packed full of amazing goodies!

Today I have a card using the new Leaping Lions stamp set and Confetti Cuts and the Pina Colada Quick Card Panels!

This is just one of the sweet lions in the set. I coloured him and his pedastal with Copics, matching the colors to the Pina Colada Quick Card Panel. That AMAZING sparkly background was cut with the new Geometric Panel. I layered the Quick Card Panel with some vellum cut with the Documented Confetti Cuts

The sentiment is stamped on part of a banner cut with the new Layered Banners Confetti Cuts. I am just in LOVE with all these new dies!

Light It Up Blue for Autism Awareness Hop!

Hello and welcome to the Light It Up Blue For Autism Awareness Blog Hop! I'm excited to be joining in today to show support for Autism awareness. It's a cause close to my extended family and some special friends.

We have so many fantastic sponsors that have shown their support for Autism Awareness and you can see the complete list here as well as all the hop participants. The Confetti Crew are delighted to be involved and you could win a fabulous prize from Reverse Confetti today! Stop by the Reverse Confetti Blog for all the designer's cards.

If you would like a chance to win a prize from one of these fabulous companies leave a comment on this blog, and any of the other blogs participating in today's hop! Winners will be chosen at random and will be announced on Monday April 6.

I thought this sentiment from Fabulous Flamingos was just perfect - if there's one thing that I know about all the people in my life affected by Autism, it is that they are all beautifully unique. And a blue Flamingo? Why not, right?! I've used the coordinating Fabulous Flamingos Confetti Cuts. The sentiment was stamped on an embossed circle from Circles 'n Scallops, the main layer is a Tag Me, Too Confetti Cut. I've also used some accent arrows from Arrows 'n Elements

Thank you SO much for stopping by today. If you'd like to learn more about Autism, you can visit Autism Speaks. Happy hopping and have a wonderful Easter!

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge: Beginnings

It's time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!

The Beginnings LEAD will be invited as a Guest Designer in a future challenge!

I just loved the soft colours in the inspiration photo - and all the natural elements. Happy Place from Verve was perfect for the challenge - and for me, my craft room isn't entirely unpacked but it's definitely starting to resemble MY Happy Place!

I also used the Happy Doodles die set - rather than coloring the flowers I embossed them in white. The sentiment is stamped on a layer cut with the Banner Bundle. I used the Pennant Trim die along the edge of the long panel.

Make sure you visit each of the designers' blogs for more inspiration!
