WSC 113 - Happy Birthday

Hi everyone - it's time for another wonderful sketch from MFT!

Today I've used Doodle Garden - Sweet Friend and created a background using masking and sponging. The sentiments and flourishes are from Finishing Flourishes.

First I stamped and coloured the image with copics. I then created a mask and overstamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from Finishing Flourishes repeatedly. I left the mask on, and cut the image with a Circle STAX, sponging the edges before removing the Die-namics. Lastly I stamped one of the flourish images and removed the mask.

I used the Notched Tag Die-namics and covered the heart in Xmas Red stickles.

The edges of my patterned paper are also sponged with Kraft ink and I faux stitched with a white gel pen.

Inside the card I've repeated some of the stamped elements and created a sentiment panel.

Happy Bird-day

Hi friends! Today I have another clean and simple card I made for a fan club challenge at SCS.

I've used Contempo Cage for this birthday card.

It's a little hard to tell from the photo - but I covered the cage with gel adhesive and Martha Stewart glitter, it has so much sparkle in real life!

I cut the bird from Blu Raspberry cardstock and stamped the wing with Wild Cherry.

I kept the inside of the card nice and simple, adding a sentiment and the bird and little bird prints in Kraft ink.

Love Fest - Verve!

I started this card by pulling a bunch of aqua scraps from my patterned paper scrapbox. I added in some yellow for my pop of colour. The sentiment was stamped, and sponged while the nestabilities die was still in place. I also added some piercing and folded prima flowers in half to sit behind the circle layer.

The stamps for this card are from Words of Wisdom, one of my all time favourite Verve sets!

Inside my card I stamped another sentiment from this set on a strip of patterned paper and finished off with some additional prima flowers. Thanks for stopping by! I hope to see you over in the Verve forum!

I made my card for my wonderful husband Shanan. He's an AMAZING Dad to our little man!

I used the Insta-frame Die-namics, and stamped my equation using the Off The Chart stamp set (the = I drew in with a marker). I used AC Thickers for the He. I wanted a scrapbook type of look, and used washi tape to adhere the frame to my card base.

The 'he' is adhered on a die cut from the Flags and Tabs set.

The top panel of my card base is bordered with the Chevron Stripes Die-namics. I've cut into the paper to remove small triangles for a seamless look.

For the inside of my card I've used the same elements from the front, cutting away the patterned paper again to highlight the chevron shape.
