Thankful Heart

TGIF! I'm popping in quickly with a card I made with lots of goodies from i {heart} papers...but first, I want to remind you of the BIG sale happening right now!

I needed some mail friendly thank you cards, and this one features a few different companies all mixed up together!

I've used the Pretty Patches Apple stamps and matching die set on this card, stamping with Memento Luxe inks in Love Letter, Rhubarb Stalk, Olive and Espresso Truffle. The paper is Homespun by Simple Stories. I created the curved panel with the Avery Elle Custom Panels dies, and the notebook layer is by Paper Smooches

I finished with some brown twine and gold sequins.

Here's a peek inside...

Have a wonderful weekend! We are going to watch some scary movies tonight...always fun!

You're A Gem!

Well, this post WAS supposed to be up over the weekend, but blogger kindly reverted it to draft for me - I hope that's not a judgement on the card! Anyway, the Sweet Pea Curtain Call Challenge sponsored by SugarPea Designs is still on and waiting for your fabulous entry!

With Jackson having just turned two, I'm busy creating thank you cards at the moment for all his wonderful gifts! I've used Go-pher It for my card today, coloring with Copics and Prismacolor Pencils. The word die is from Paper Smooches and the paper is Garden Party by Pebbles.

Here's a peek inside my card...

There's also an Anything Goes challenge happening at SPD - so make sure to link up any and all cards right HERE

There's also a new sketch waiting for you at the SugarPea blog, along with another card from moi!

Simple Miss You + A BIG Sale!

Hello! I'm popping in with a clean and simple "I miss you" card using some goodies from i {heart} papers, and I also have a big sale you'll want to check out!

I just love yellow and navy together, don't you? This card reminds me of baseball for some reason - must be that awesome sentiment from the You're a Winner stamp set! I stamped in Hero Arts Shadow Ink on Twirly Girly paper from Chickaniddy Crafts. A big bow tied from this chevron ribbon added even more stripes, and I finished with these enamel dots.

Kate is moving, and lucky for you, you get to help her save space while saving money! Things are selling fast, get in quick!

Reverse Confetti June Color Challenge!

Hello friends! It's the middle of the month, so it's time for a new Reverse Confetti color challenge!

Now, I may have misremembeed the aqua in the photo as blue....that'll teach me to watch Scandal on my tablet instead of having the challenge graphic open *grin* I know you'll be MUCH more in line with the challenge!

I've used Freida for my card today, I just love this sassy gal!

Freida is fussy cut and popped up over a peek-a-boo sequin shaker background. I've used vellum to stamp the sentiment on a strip cut with the Tag Me Confetti Cuts, and I just LOVE giving her red glasses!

Her dress and scarf are pieced and the heart got a coat of wink of stella pen.

Mickey Mouse Birthday Card

Hello! I thought I'd pop in tonight and share what always turns out to be my favourite card of the year - Jackson's birthday card! We had a fabulous weekend with his grandparents flying in, and a Mickey party to celebrate. I can't believe this little dude is two!

The current Recipe Swap at Catered Crop is Manly Men

Father's Day isn't until September here in NZ, so I'm focusing on the card for my little man!

Looking through my substanial paper stash, I relised just how little paper I had featuring primary colors - this is an old Pink Paislee collection, Hometown Summer.

I printed a giant "2" on paper (Font is Minnie, size was 300pt) and used it as a template to cut black and red cardstock. I added punched circle ears and some sponging. The sentiment is from Sentiment Sampler by Paper Smooches. I embellished with some glittery stars cut with Verve's Starry Die.

Here's a peek inside the card...

Shanan and I like to write letters to Jackson each year, so his birthday cards always feature a pocket. I added more stars and some stitched detail.

I'll be sure to share lots of party photos just as soon as I finish downloading all the photos! Till then, I hope you'll join us at Catered Crop!

There are few things I like more than a pretty pillow box. Today I've made a trio of boxes using LOTS of Reverse Confetti goodies! I'll link up the individual supplies on each close up :-) I've used Mint Julep papers from Basic Grey and assorted Memento Luxe inks.

I hope you’ve enjoyed hopping with us today. Be sure and hop with us on the 8th of EVERY MONTH for more REVERSE CONFETTI inspiration! Now it’s time to hop on over to Heather’s blog.
