March SFYTT!

Hello! I am going to keep this short and sweet - we have been in our new house almost two weeks, but still no internet (grrr) It's supposed to be installed on Saturday and I'm almost out of phone data so a quick blog post it is!

Speaking of quick...my craft room is not unpacked. Not even close. BUT....I was still able to make this card for the March SFYTT using one of the amazing Spring Fling Quick Card Panels. If you need a card in a hurry, these are amazing!

Just quickly - I am so happy to have the outdoor space I've always wanted to take daylight photos! Even better, the deck is covered so I can take photos in the rain. I hope this is the answer to my dreary winter photo prayers. So you might see a little NZ flora and fauna in my backgrounds from now on!

The Spring Fling Quick Card panel was overlayed with a vellum circle cut using Circles 'n Scallops. The bunny from More Than Jellybeans was cut with the More Than Jellybeans Confetti Cuts. The Double Banner Garland Confetti Cuts was the perfect finishing touch, along with an enamel heart for the bunnies eye.

Oh, I almost forgot - I have a new video up on the Reverse Confetti Blog - you can see it HERE

There's still time for you to play along with Sketch For You To Try, and be in to WINsome moohlah to spend in the Reverse Confetti store! Be sure to link up your creation here for a chance to win. And don't forget, we'll have a brand new sketch on the 1st of the month!

On the Move! & A Special Reverse Confetti Creation...

It's my turn to share a card for Confetti Camera - you'll find a card showing off a fun idea for decorating the inside of your cards over on the Reverse Confetti blog

Things have been a bit quiet here on the blog, but not so much in our lives lately. Today we close on our first house!

Shanan and I celebrate 9 years of marriage next month, and we've moved cities a lot since we got married, so we're really looking forward to putting down roots! We love the Kapiti Coast here in New Zealand, so it'll be a bit of a sea change to a smaller city with some amazing beaches and schools for our little guy.

Moving day is tomorrow...and I'll have a new craft room to set up so I can get stamping again! In the meantime, I'll have a new video and Reverse Confetti project later in the month.

Reverse Confetti Blog Hop and Video!

Welcome! It's the 8th of the month, so it's Reverse Confetti hop time!
Even better, it's a release month, woohoo! All the new goodies are available in store HERE.

You should have made it here from Erin's blog. If you need to start at the beginning of the hop, head over to the Reverse Confetti blog, there is SO much inspiration on show today!

My project today uses the More Than Jellybeans stamp set and More Than Jellybeans Confetti Cuts on a sweet little Easter box. To create the box, I cut the Tag Me, Too Confetti Cuts 4 times from vellum, scoring the tops and laying them together before adding a cardboard base. The band of pink paper holds the sides together.

I decorated with one of the lovely egg shaped sentiments from More Than Jellybeans and the Double Banner Garland Confetti Cuts. I cut a felt rabbit, backing it with cardboard so it would stand up in the little box. The small die cut bow was created with the Tagged Tote Confetti Cuts.

I just ADORE the new Folded Tag Confetti Cuts. So much so, I had to make a quick video to show how versatile these dies and the matching Folded Tag Sentiments are! Bonus: You'll get to see the sentiment inside this folded tag, I totally forgot to take a photo!

It's time to go visit with the fabulous Laurie now - enjoy the hop and happy shopping!

Countdown to Confetti: The Buzz and more!

It's day three of peeks for the March Reverse Confetti release!

Today I have two cards to share, both using the new Limited Edition Spring Fling Quick Card Panels

My first card uses The Buzz stamp set and matching The Buzz Confetti Cuts. I love how this card turned out! I cut a space for my bee to sit using the Donut You Know Confetti Cuts. A bright yellow banner cut from the Double Banner Garland Confetti Cuts was the perfect embellishment.

The bee was stamped three times, once colored with copics on blending cardstock, and twice on vellum. I cut the wings off the colored image, and adhered the vellum wings behind the bee using pop dots.

Here's a peek inside my card...

The little bee is so sweet!

My second card also features a cut out portion on the Quick Card Panel and more vellum...

I love the colors on these quick card panels! This one has rounded corners, and I heat embossed the sentiment from the Shine Bright stamp set in black embossing powder. I cut the sun from the Sun 'n Clouds Confetti Cuts and inlaid a yellow diecut. The clouds were cut from vellum. I attached the clouds with a glue dot and hid them behind some enamel dots. The black border was cut with the Double Edge Wonky Scallop Border. Some polka dot washi tape finishes off the card.

Here's a peek inside...

I used both die cut pieces leftover on the inside of the card.

Countdown to Confetti - Folded Tag!

It's day two of peeks for the March Reverse Confetti release!

Today we're taking a look at the Folded Tag Sentiments stamp set and Folded Tag Confetti Cuts. This is a little gem of a die, it's like a card and tag in one! Love that! I'll have a video later in the week to show off this fun combo even more.

Here I've added a Folded Tag to a Tagged Tote, filled with kisses. I just love the bold sentiment stamps in this set - there's something for every occasion.

You can stamp another sentiment inside the tag, and there's still plenty of room for a handwritten message!

I decorated the front of my Tagged Tote with the new Double Edge Wonky Scallop Border Confetti Cuts and the Double Banner Garland Confetti Cuts. These dies are so versatile!
