Avery Elle Gift Card Thanks

Hi friends! I'm sharing my last card as Avery Elle guest designer today - I have SO enjoyed my time with this marvelous company. Thank you so much to Jamie and all the team for having me!

I have a thank you card that also holds a gift card to share today using lots of Avery Elle goodies!

I created a pocket with the Love Notes Pocket dies, using a circle from the Pinked Dies to cut a decorative notch. The big bold flower is made with the so fun Flower Elle-ments dies. The sentiment is from the Save the Date stamp set.

You can also find Avery Elle stamps and dies at i {heart} papers! The patterned paper I've used today is Webster's Pages Recorded and the ink is Memento Luxe Espresso Truffle.

Thank you for visiting today!

Wings of Love

Hi friends! I'm back this morning with another take on the fab Viva la Verve sketch for this week.

I'm still loving blue and yellow for Valentines, and I HAD to ink up the new-to-me Wings of Love as soon as it arrived. This is a must have, I can't believe I waited so long to snag it up!

I stamped the image on blending cardstock, paper piecing the heart and shading the wings with copics. All the sponging is Walnut Stain Distress Ink. I added some shimmer with a wink of stella pen, distressed all the edges and finished with some pearls.

I'm linking up to the Pink Elephant's love challenge this week!

Here's the inside...

This set co-ordinates with the Wavy Hearts dies. I've stamped one heart, and layered over a die cut. I just love that typewriter font! A couple of teeny pearls finish off this simple inside. This stamp set and the dies are currently on sale!

I hope you'll play along with us this month at Viva la Verve!

Romantic Tag

Hello there! It's my day over on the Fresh Squeezed stamps blog, and I'm sharing a sweet little tag today.

Cross stitch influences are everywhere in paper crafting right now, and this gorgeous example from Love Signs is right on trend! I paired it with some soft colours, lace and that beautiful bliss banner stamp for a romantic look. Stamping in chocolate rather than black adds to the softer look of this tag.

I'm linking up to the Pink Elephant's love challenge this week!

I love tags, they make a simple gift stand out! My little bag of chocolates is also stamped with one of the sentiments from When Hearts Collide - these two sets work so well together!

Crushin'

I'll be drawing my follower blog candy tomorrow - make sure you're in to win!!

Hi friends! It's time for the last Crazy 4 Challenges challenge of the month, and also my last challenge as one of the "crazies". I've so enjoyed my time as part of this team, and I'm sure I'll be playing along often! Thank you to Frances and the girls for having me!

My challenge to you today is a Valentine's color combo...

Here's my card using awesome Reverse Confetti products!

The layout for this card is Deconstructed Sketch 135, flipped. LOVE it! Those angles are awesome. I kept everything angled on my card and really loved all the little spots to add embellishment.

The sentiments are from Crushin' and the little polka heart is from Arrows 'n Elements. I've used the large panel from the Love Note die and accessorized with the hearts from the same set and the Arrow die (still love love love that arrow!) Some washi, rhinestones and a rhinestone heart finish it off.

Here's the inside...

There are so many layers on the front, I kept the inside nice and clean.

Don't forget to stop by Crazy 4 Challenges to link up your Valentines and see what the team has created - they really rocked this combo!

Stamps: Crushin', Arrows 'n Elements (Reverse Confetti) Paper: Adorbs (MME) Ink: Berrylicious (MFT) Choc Chip (SU) Dies: Confetti Cuts: Arrow, Love Note (Reverse Confetti) Flags (MFT) Other: Rhinestones, Twine

Preppy Thanks

Hi friends! It's time for a new sketch over at Viva la Verve! Each month, a random participant from any one of the sketches wins $100 to spend in the Verve store, so it's well worth playing along!

This week's sketch by Anya is an instant classic!

Here's my take...

I kept trying to embellish this card, but in the end, I kept coming back to this unadorned look - kinda preppy, no? Sometimes less is more I guess!

I've used You and I and the coordinating I Heart U die set. The U was cut three times from card, and once from paper for a 3D look.

Peeking out from underneath the focal layer is the wonderful Pennant Trim die.

Here's the inside...

Head on over to the Viva la Verve blog for lots of inspiration from the Divas! I'll be looking out for your cards this week, so try to catch my eye for your chance to be caught in the viewfinder!

Avery Elle - Way To Go

*This is my second post today, please click here for my SugarPea Designs card*

I'm back sharing another project using the awesome Circle It stamp set from Avery Elle. This time I have paired it with Love Notes, which is a must have set in my book!

I stamped the base image in a really pale blue, using the single dot stamp included in the set to extend the design up to the top of my layer. I curved the sentiment on my block before stamping, then got to work with the layering images in Love Notes! I think these sets look lovely together, don't you?

The layout is Cardabilities #91. I used my envelope punch board to create the tabbed panel.

Shore do Love You - Seize the Sketch #12

Good morning! It's time for another fabulous Seize the Sketch - and did you see the news? We have some awesome new team members!

Here's the sketch...

I've used my first ever Reverse Confetti stamp set today - Happy Harbor. I love creating little scenes with this one!

Valentine's don't have to be pink and red, right?! I've gone with a classic yellow and navy for my nautical themed Valentine. The Tag Me Confetti Cuts gave me a perfect focal layer, and I've accented with a heart from the Love Notes die set.

Head on over to the Seize the Sketch blog for some awesome design team eye candy! I hope you'll play along!

One Layer Birthday

Hi friends, I'm popping in with a back to basics one layer card for a pretty princess on her first birthday!

Often I find myself caught up with the latest gadgets, and needing a reminder of why I love this craft in the first place - the simple joy of lifting a stamp and seeing that magical image transferred to paper! I have a one layer card today using, count 'em - 1,2,3,4 Fresh Squeezed Stamp sets! Don't they work so well together?

I had a vision of pink birthday balloons floating over a city. I stamped in three shades of pink ink - the skyline from On Trend 2013, balloons from Life of the Party, little hearts (to match the heart window in the skyline - have you ever noticed that?) from When Hearts Collide and sentiment from Take a Number.

I think this could easily be turned into a sweet Valentine's card by switching to a sentiment from When Hearts Collide!
