It’s a new year, and what could be better than to start it off with a brand new shiny release from REVERSE CONFETTI?! Love is definitely in the air with the 6 new stamp sets (including our new Quirky Cuties line) and 3 new Confetti Cuts Dies. We invite you to hop along with the Confetti Crew, Challenge Crew, and a few other friends today as we share our cards and projects using the new products. We think you’ll fall in love over and over with this release!
The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog, and you should have made it here from Amy Sheffer’s blog. It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see using all the new Reverse Confetti stamp sets!
I'm so excited that this release is finally here. I'm going to give you a hot tip - the Arrow Die is $4.95. Do NOT check out without it. You need it. It's amazing and you'll use it on everything - great value!
I have two cards to share today, so let's get to it!
I am so excited about this Quirky Cuties line! My heart skipped a beat when I first saw Freida Fox. My son loves that fox song, so we're all about foxes in this house lately! I've coloured with copics and a wink of stella glitter pen. The dress is paper pieced, and I've cut out and layered the heart, face and scarf so everything sits right, it takes a little more time, but the finished effect is worth it!
I've cut the Arrow die twice from cardstock and once from paper to give it dimension and colour underneath. I trimmed around the embossed edge of the Love Note die to add an extra layer. The Double Edge Scallop Border is also peeking out there!
Here's the inside of my card...
Freida looks just as good uncoloured - love her!
My second card uses the Key Words Collection: Go Together set. I've used the same papers and colours to make it a little matchy matchy.
I love all the possibilities with the Key Words Collection sets. They mix and match so well! I've used the Sweet Treat Tent as my focal layer for this card. I used both sizes from the Double Edge Scallop Border and I love both sizes so much!
Here's the inside...
I kept the same inside layout as the first card and added some shine to the together after filling it in with a black copic.
I hope you’ve enjoyed hopping with us today. Be sure and hop with us on the 8th of EVERY MONTH for more REVERSE CONFETTI inspiration! Now it’s time to hop on over to Heather’s blog. If you get lost along the way, you can find the hop order and list of all the participating designers over on the Reverse Confetti blog.
A few things before you hop along though, just to keep you “in the know”…
