Viva la Verve - You Make Me Happy

Hello! I'm happy to be hostesses for this week's Viva la Verve sketch - it's been awhile since I've had time to play along with VLV, moving sure puts a kink in your crafting time!

I inked up the Rain or Shine stamp set for the first time - I paper pieced the umbrella, because who could resist a yellow polka dot umbrella?!

I've also used the Classy Label Die and Pennant Trim Die. I hope you'll play along with us this month for a chance to win a great Verve prize! 

Adjusted Sails

Hello! I'm popping in quickly tonight with my take on the current Viva la Verve sketch!

I knew I wanted to go nautical, so out came the always beautiful Adjusted Sails Plain Jane. I stamped on a Banner Bundle die cut and accented with the anchor die from the Nautical die set.

It's time for a new Viva la Verve sketch - did you know you can win $100 a month just for playing along?! Best prize ever!

It's inspiration week, so I also drew on the aqua and yellow in the inspiration pic.

I kept very true to the sketch, even using a little butterfly!

I love that Julee always has just the right sentiment. The Be Okay Plain Jane was JUST what I needed to reassure someone special.

I've used Petals and Wings and the matching Wings and Petals die and the pretty border is from the Scalloped Trim Trio. I finished with some gorgeous Shine Bright sequins.

I kept my card very clean and simple. Sentiments from 
So Fluttery were stamped on flags from the Flag It die set. The butterfly outline from So Fluttery was stamped on the Flutterby die. I accented with those amazing Shine Bright sequins!

Wonderful Marvelous is one of those sets that just makes me happy - so this sentiment is perfect and I went with a sunny color scheme! I've used lots of great Verve dies - the Pennant Trim Die, Heart Quartet Die, and the Banner Bundle Die Set

Up, Up and Away!

Happy Friday! I'm stopping in with a card for the new Viva la Verve sketch by Stacey. This is a really fun one, and there's also a gorgeous inspiration photo you can combine with the sketch if wished!

I focused on the sketch for my card.

I've used the fabulous Up Up and Away stamp set to create a little scene. The hot air balloon was paper pieced and the clouds were shaded with copics.

The focal sentiment is stamped on a Banner Bundle die cut and sponged while still in the die.

Do Not Worry

Hello! I'm popping in with my take on this week's Viva la Verve sketch by the fabulous Janelle! 

Gorgeous sketch right? I LOVED making this card, I only wish it photographed better, you'll have to trust me, it's so soft and pretty in real life! 

I've used the Each Day stamp set. This was my first time getting inky with this set, and it's already a favourite! Gorgeous fonts and a stunning butterfly, what more could a stamper want?! The butterflies were stamped on a very light weight vellum and fussy cut. I added some peachy sponging to my sentiment panel and a Signature Collection Seam Binding bow finished off the layout.

Hello! I'm popping in tonight with a card for the new Viva la Verve sketch - this one is from Stacey, and it's so fun!

I used the Better Together set on my card!

I used the polka dot background from Better Together on the border panel, and on the Jotted Heart Die. The flower was created with the Floral Circles Die Set. I used a ball stylus and foam mat the shape the flowers. The leaves were cut with the Dreamy Leaves Die Set. I loved the gray striped leaves on the patterned paper, so tried to get the same look with some warm gray copics.

April Diva Inspirations Hop - Chic Chevrons!

Welcome to Verve's April Diva Inspirations Hop. It's the 5th of the month and that means it's hopping time! This month we've got a fabulous challenge that's sure to put a string in your step! I had so much fun putting together my card today! I've used chevron paper and that gorgeous chevron butterfly from the Chevron Love stamp set, cut with the All Aflutter Die. The beautiful sentiment is from Bloom & Grow, as is the leaves image, cut with the Elegant Leaves die.

I've also used the Award Banner Trim die, and I stamped it with the polka dot image from the newly released Better Together.

The layout and colors for my card come from the current Viva la Verve challenge!
