I didn't forget...

I'm back this afternoon with the weekly challenge from There She Goes. This time the awesome Jenny has challenged us to use paper piecing. I'm also playing along with Kittie's DTGD challenge, and I'm CASEing myself for this week's Featured Stamper challenge! Seize the Birthday are having a month long celebration and I'm linking up!

My stamps are from Jungle Out There. I pieced the elephant, using a little sponging to add some depth. I also popped up his head for even more dimension. The flower was die cut, then shaped and distressed.

I shadow stamped the elephant the inside of the card and added a sentiment from the Cinnamon set. I hope you'll play along this week for your chance at some TSG moohlah!

CAS231 - Fresh Cut Florals.

Hello creative friends! It's time for another Clean and Simple Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers. This week the challenge is a sketch. I'm also playing along with one of the Dare to get Dirty challenges!

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the stamps I've used today are my FAVE florals EVER! I just love how this card came together.

Here's my card...

*sigh* I just love all the flowery colour! I changed the rectangle to a circle, and curved my sentiment before stamping.

I shopped at i {heart} papers for my supplies today! The stamps are from Wplus9 Fresh Cut Florals, I've also used the matching dies. The paper is Authentique Renew, and I've also used some black sequins for some balance and sparkle. You'll find many more goodies in store, head on over, take a peek at what's new and say hi from me!

Here's the inside of my card...

I just couldn't stop die cutting and stamping those flowers!

I've had some other fun news recently, I won the Pink Elephant 208 challenge

That means I'll be hopping along with the amazing Reverse Confetti crew for the next release *swoon*

VLV Week 5! Little Star

Hi friends! July has five weeks, so five awesome Viva la Verve sketches!

You can find all the details about this challenge and how you can win $100 to spend on Verve goodies in the Viva la Verve forum.

Here's the sketch for this week and the awesome inspiration photo from Julee!

and here's my take...

After seeing the inspiration photo I definitely had babies on the brain, so went with the Little Star Plain Jane. I paired it with the Starry Die and of course, the fab Pennant Trim die! I adhered cardstock behind the cut out stars, then coloured the sentiment to match.

I've had those little hands in my stash for a good eight years, so it was nice to use them!

C4C - Enjoy Life

It's time for another fun challenge at Crazy for Challenges!

This week the challenge is to be inspired by picnics! We love going on family picnics, especially this past summer when Jackson was just little - no one cares if baby is grizzly in the open air! Our picnics almost always end with ice cream, so that's my take this week.  Here's my card...

I've used Enjoy Life from There She Goes and the matching Enjoy Life dies to create my cone. The embossing folder reminded me of the pattern on a cone.

The paper is Authentique Renew. I'm playing along with Simon Says - Summer Food or Drink!

The layout is Freshly Made Sketches 96.

Here's the inside of my card...

Now it's time to go see all the fab inspiration from the design team, happy hopping!
