Avery Elle Birthday Card

I'm popping in today with a cute birthday card I made for my stash - I figure this one would be good for just about anyone. Not too girly! 

This card uses all Avery Elle from i {heart} papers. If I haven't mentioned it lately, I LOVE that IHP is a one stop shop for all my paper, ink, adhesive, stamps and dies!

Of course that grinning feline is non other than the Chesire Cat! I've given him a more somber hue today. You'll find him in the Alice and Friends stamp set - I've cut him and the banner with the matching Alice and Friends dies. 

The paper is the Everyday Collection. I've also used the Dotted Dies and the W R Family die set (I love all these basic shape dies Avery Elle have now - they make layering easy)

I finished with a couple of Enamel Shapes from this Now & Then collection.

Happy Thanksgiving + IHP SALE!!

Happy Thanksgiving! Before I get to my card today, it's SALE time at i {heart} papers!

Time to get shopping! If you're stuck for ideas, I've used lots of goodies from IHP on my card today.

I've used the Winter Wreath stamp set and matching dies to create this Thank You card - I love that this set works for a variety of occasions! I've used Avery Elle ink in Kraft (you need this!) and Papaya and Memento Luxe in Cocoa. 

The paper collection is Indian Summer.

I've cut the layers with the Finished Frames dies and embellished with some enamel dots.

Birthday Bouquet!

I'm popping in tonight to share a birthday notecard - appropriate given we're still celebrating i {heart} papers 6th birthday! The sale continues until Friday - check this out!

I needed a card to go with a gift and wanted to make a little notecard size based around the smaller frame die in Finished Frames. I love how it turned out!

The papers are Nine & Co by Teresa Collins. I used inks from both Memento Luxe and Avery Elle. The stamps are Basic Banners and Fresh Cut Containers with the matching Basic Banner die and Fresh Cut Containers dies. I finished with some Twirly Girly Enamel Hearts.

TGIF! I'm making an effort to actually make enough Christmas cards to send out this year - and a new order from i {heart} papers is making Christmas crafting a breeze!

I wanted to use some non-christmas papers on this card - This one is Nine and Co, I thought the coral and light blue made a nice alternative color combo for Christmas. I am completely addicted to these Finished Frames dies from Avery Elle and struggle not to use them on every card lately! 

The stamps are Winter Woodland from wplus9 with the matching Winter Woodland dies. I cut the Merry from the Hand Lettered Holiday dies from glitter paper and popped it up for dimension. 

The fawn was stamped with Avery Elle Kraft - it's a must have ink! I used the new Silver Fox for the trees. I finished with these awesome wood veneer snowflakes - love them!

Is there anything more joyous to make than a card celebrating a new baby?! I broke out my i {heart} papers supplies today to make a card to celebrate a new baby boy!

I've used the new So Happy set, combined with an older set, Hipster-potomus. You can see the new Avery Elle release and all in stock sets HERE.  The papers are Simple Stories Hello Baby. I embellished with some die cut stars and a couple of enamel dots. The bow uses some this Celery Green chevron ribbon and white twine.

Sweet Home Recipe Swap

 

Hi friends! I have a bright clean and simple card today - for the new Catered Crop Recipe Swap and using the new Retro Sketch!

The new recipe swap is Sweet Home. What a cosy theme!

I shopped at i {heart} papers for my supplies today! I just knew this new Favorite Things paper would be perfect to piece the teepee from the Home Sweet Home set by Avery Elle. I kept pretty close to the sketch, adding some enamel hearts from the Twirly Girly collection. I've used Memento Luxe ink in Pear Tart and Tuxedo Black.

CASE Study #183 Thank You

Happy Thursday! I'm having so much fun playing along with the CASE Study team this month - I've really enjoyed the inspirational challenges. This week is no different, let's jump right in and see what's in store...

Beautiful card from Joni as always! I loved the stripes and focal sentiment as well as the florals, and took my inspiration from there, swapping out the pastels for a brighter palette.

 

I used lots of i {heart} papers goodies on this card! The stamps are Avery Elle Save the Date and Love Notes. I used my fave Memento Luxe inks - these inks are the reason I'm addicted to vellum, they work so well together! The enamel dots are the new Color Theory range from Studio Calico. The striped background is So Stripey stamped with the Nautical Blue Memento Luxe.

Catered Crop: Safe Travels

Hi friends! I'm popping in tonight with a card for the current Catered Crop Recipe Swap: Safe Travels.

I went with something a little different today, watercolouring on a mini card. I've used lots of Avery Elle goodies!

Right away I thought of this cute little caravan - oh how I'd love one of these! Maybe when Jackson is older. 

I shopped at i {heart} papers for my supplies today. The stamps are Happy Camper, paired with Home Sweet Home and on the inside I've used Handwritten Notes. All the colouring was done with Distress Markers and a waterbrush.

Hi friends! I've been a little quiet this week huh? I've been stamping less than usual - I'm putting that down to Jackson teething and good books - I'm tired and have been spending lots of time reading! Next week will be busy busy though with lots of new goodies to share!

I'm playing along with the new AEI♥U Challenge today, the theme is birthday.

This one uses lots of  i {heart} papers goodies! 

I've used three stamp sets by Avery Elle, Cupcakes, Handwritten Notes and Circle It (the small confetti image). The Pinked Die set is also from Avery Elle, I re-cut the layer to make it smaller. 

The paper is my new fave, Fresh Cut by Basic Grey. The ink is Memento Luxe Espresso Truffle. I've also used some pretty gold sequins.

Hi friends! I'm stopping in with a card for a couple of different challenges today.

The Pink Elephant had a Valentine theme, and Case Study had this awesome inspiration...

I was inspired by the sentiment coupled with a fun accessory image, and knew right away I wanted to use Love Notes from Avery Elle, jam packed with these kind of matching pairs.

Vellum, glitter paper and sequins? This card lives right in my happy place!

Avery Elle Gift Card Thanks

Hi friends! I'm sharing my last card as Avery Elle guest designer today - I have SO enjoyed my time with this marvelous company. Thank you so much to Jamie and all the team for having me!

I have a thank you card that also holds a gift card to share today using lots of Avery Elle goodies!

I created a pocket with the Love Notes Pocket dies, using a circle from the Pinked Dies to cut a decorative notch. The big bold flower is made with the so fun Flower Elle-ments dies. The sentiment is from the Save the Date stamp set.

You can also find Avery Elle stamps and dies at i {heart} papers! The patterned paper I've used today is Webster's Pages Recorded and the ink is Memento Luxe Espresso Truffle.

Avery Elle - Way To Go

I'm back sharing another project using the awesome Circle It stamp set from Avery Elle. This time I have paired it with Love Notes, which is a must have set in my book!

I stamped the base image in a really pale blue, using the single dot stamp included in the set to extend the design up to the top of my layer. I curved the sentiment on my block before stamping, then got to work with the layering images in Love Notes! I think these sets look lovely together, don't you?

Avery Elle: Save the Date

Good morning! I'm sharing my second card as guest designer for Avery Elle, and today I'm working with Save the Date and some more fun dies!

I knew this set would be wonderful with the chalkboard technique, and I had fun creating this farm inspired thank you - doesn't this kind of remind you of a folksy restaurant sign?

After heat embossing the sentiment with white powder, I over stamped with a white pigment ink for added depth. I've used an edge from the Simply Tags: Loves Notes die set to create the label shape. I've also used the largest of the new Pinked Elle-ments Dies - love that panel!
