Birthday Bouquet!

I'm popping in tonight to share a birthday notecard - appropriate given we're still celebrating i {heart} papers 6th birthday! The sale continues until Friday - check this out!

I needed a card to go with a gift and wanted to make a little notecard size based around the smaller frame die in Finished Frames. I love how it turned out!

The papers are Nine & Co by Teresa Collins. I used inks from both Memento Luxe and Avery Elle. The stamps are Basic Banners and Fresh Cut Containers with the matching Basic Banner die and Fresh Cut Containers dies. I finished with some Twirly Girly Enamel Hearts

I'd love to hear what you picked up in the IHP sale! Happy Shopping!

October SFYTT! Thank You

Hello! I'm popping in with my take on this month's Sketch For You to Try from Reverse Confetti - there is still a little time left to play along and be in to win!

I really love this sketch - you can see my previous take on it in this video HERE.

I knew I wanted to use the new Roundabout stamp set - I really can't get enough of those bold circular sentiments! It's perfect with this sketch. The Teresa Collins Nine and Co paper made color selection easy. I've cut the sentiment with the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts, and layered it on a Love Note Confetti Cuts. The arrows are from Arrows 'n Elements and the XO is from Crushin'. I finished with some enamel dots. Are enamel dots "over"?! I still love them!

Sketch For You To Try Details:
There will be a new sketch posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 1st of each month.
The sketch will be posted in the sidebar and you will be able to click on it to get to that month’s SFYTT post with the link list during this time.
Reverse Confetti stamps are required to win.  This is a way we get to thank our customers for using our stamps.  Anyone is welcome to play, though!
You may enter as many times as you wish.
There will be a winner each month and that person will receive a $20 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store and claim the title of ‘Fetti Fave. The winner of SFYTT will be posted on the Reverse Confetti blog.

Happy Holidays

Exciting news! This weekend sees the 6th Birthday celebration for i {heart} papers! And you get the gifts!

Start making your list and get ready to shop because there are some fantastic goodies in store HERE! The sale starts Saturday.

My card today is for the new End Zone Catered Crop Recipe Swap. Here's the inspiration photo...

I thought I'd transform those black stripes into trees with one of my fave sets right now, Winter Woodland.

I cut the deer from gold cardstock using the Stag Trio Die. The inks are Memento Luxe. I finished off the 4x4 card with a wooden snowflake embellishment. No patterned paper on this CAS design, that doesn't happen often!

I hope you'll play along with Catered Crop and enjoy treating yourself at the IHP Birthday Sale!

This latest release is just SO gorgeous! I inked up Inspire Hope today for a card that hopefully would lift the spirits of someone going through Breast Cancer treatment. I sponged the focal layer and stamped the gorgeous frame and sentiment with various neutrals. I sponged some scrap cardstock with the same color, cut the new Ribbon die, then covered it with stickles and glossy accents.

Sprightly Sprigs cut from heavy vellum frame the piece, and the flags were cut with the Banner Bundle. Finally I finished with some sequins from the new Pink Sparkle Sequin Mix.

It's time to hop on over and visit with Maureen now!

Want to win some shiny new Verve? We're giving away a $40 gift voucher to one lucky commenter along the hop, so be sure to leave a shout out in the comments as you hop about.

Merry!

TGIF! I'm making an effort to actually make enough Christmas cards to send out this year - and a new order from i {heart} papers is making Christmas crafting a breeze!

I wanted to use some non-christmas papers on this card - This one is Nine and Co, I thought the coral and light blue made a nice alternative color combo for Christmas. I am completely addicted to these Finished Frames dies from Avery Elle and struggle not to use them on every card lately!

The stamps are Winter Woodland from wplus9 with the matching Winter Woodland dies. I cut the Merry from the Hand Lettered Holiday dies from glitter paper and popped it up for dimension.

The fawn was stamped with Avery Elle Kraft - it's a must have ink! I used the new Silver Fox for the trees. I finished with these awesome wood veneer snowflakes - love them!

You can see all the new goodies at IHP right here - there is so much awesomeness in stock!

Soft and Subtle!

I've been loving soft colors lately. Super soft inks, pastel tones. Maybe it's a reaction to all the bold color of Halloween crafting? Not that I don't love that as well!

I have a couple of Reverse Confetti projects to share today in soothing, pretty colors!

I wanted to use the Hanging Out Confetti Cuts again - this time to make a fun birthday door hanger. You'll see lots of Confetti Cuts on this one - Envie Wrap, Circles 'n Scallops, Love Note and the little bow is from the Tagged Tote set. The sentiment stamped in a whisper light mint ink is from Roundabout Additions. I inked all my edges lightly and finished with some enamel hearts.

Roundabout Additions makes an appearance on this little treat bag too - you might recognise this as the one I whipped up in my Envie Wrap video. I've stamped in a soft gray and accented with a rhinestone heart. I plan to make little bags like this to use as place cards this Christmas - filled with after dinner mints perhaps?

SugarPea Designs Sweet 2 Repeat Blog Hop! Win!

Welcome to the SugarPea Designs October Sweet 2 Repeat blog hop where we showcase our newest release!

I've used the adorable Sniffles and Snuggles stamp set today!

I stamped the image on kraft cardstock, outlined a circular portion and colored with Prismacolor Pencils. I cut a reverse spotlight from vellum, stitching it onto the panel. I love this effect! The sentiment was curved before stamping.

It's time to hop along and see some AMAZING cards!
