July Diva Inspirations Hop!

Today I'm sharing a birthday card I made for hubby using Wishing You and Love Monkey. We have a giggle over the way Shanan makes monkey noises when he's reading to Jackson, so the monkey was perfect for this card! I'm also linking up to Stacey's birthday celebration!

I stamped the monkey on x-press it cardstock and coloured with copics. I stamped the hearts in red ink then filled them in with Xmas Red Stickles. The background is embossed with my fave folder and I went for a tilted panel layout. The gorgeous border is from the Scalloped Trim Trio Cut Above Dies.

Here's the inside of my card...

I've kept the Scalloped Trim Trio dies together, so I get three borders cut in one pass - I had to use the cute star border on the inside of the card as well as a sentiment from Love Monkey.
