Trimming the Tree

It's hard to believe, but tomorrow is the 1st of December here in New Zealand. The first day of summer, and the day we decorate our Christmas tree! This being Jackson's first Christmas, it's even more special than usual and I'm trying to record as many memories as possible. Today I have a card I made for his Smash Book, I'll paste it in, and add a photo of his first Christmas Tree.

I've used stamps and Die-namics from the AWESOME Laina Lamb designs line. I've used Journal It - Calendar Basics and Document It - December. The Die-namics are Insert It - 3x4 Insert and Accent It - Flags and Tags. I wanted to keep the flag relatively flat, so just finished off with a Poinsettia Die-namics flower - isn't this thing amazing? LOVE this die!

Inside the card I've left room for a photo. I've left one side of the embellishments not stuck down so I can slip the photo underneath.

Here are the Die-namics I've used today:

 Thanks for stopping by!
Stamps: LLD - Calender Basics, Document it December (MFT Stamps) Paper: St Nick (Fancy Pants) Ink: Wild Cherry, Jellybean Green (MFT Stamps) Dies: Insert it, Flags and Tags, Poinsettia Die-namics (MFT Stamps)

  2. Great card, love the paper you have used. We don't really do the xmas tree thing but Nana does so our little one enjoyed helping with that.
