Homespun Hearts


Yippee, it's time for the first lot of MFT teasers for 2013! I'm going to have to stop writing 2012 all the time, I swear it takes me months to get into the swing of a new year!

Today I have a card and treat box using Lisa's new Homespun Hearts set - as always this is a gorgeous set with SO many elements!


Isn't that little square pillow box cute? Guess what....it's a new Die-namic from MFT! wooohoo!

 I used the new Hearts and Stitches stamp set for all the stitching you'll see stamped on my projects today. I sponged all my edges, and "antiqued" the keys and locks.

I created a clustered focal point for my card, layering on top of the new Heart Doily - love it! I stamped my own patterned paper using some small hearts from the set.


I used layers of ink, stickles and dimensional glaze on the lock. Let me know if you would like a video on how I got that exact look and I'll whip one up!


Inside my key I've used the new Layered Heart border - you can get so many looks from this layered set!
