One Layer Hello!

Hello! As this goes live, I'll be right in the middle of our fun birthday weekend with Jackson's grandparents visiting. I'll be sure to share some photos next week!

This week has been a blur of baking and organising, getting everything done beforehand so we can all just relax and enjoy the all too short visit. I was feeling the need to make SOMETHING though, so a pretty one layer card using some goodies from i {heart} papers was just the thing!

I've used this pretty Latticework stencil, sponging over some Fresh Peach and Soft Cantelope Shadow ink with a mini blending tool. The sentiment from Handlettered Hello was stamped overtop in Teal Zeal Memento Luxe. The matching enamel dots are from the Mildred collection.

Have a great weekend!

I kept this one nice and masculine, as it was for my Father In Law's birthday!

I'm playing along with the Pink Elephant challenge to use Orange.

You are so...

Hi friends, I'm popping in with a card for the current Viva la Verve sketch!

Lots of fun panels to play with on this one!

I kept my card very clean and simple. Sentiments from

So Fluttery were stamped on flags from the Flag It die set. The butterfly outline from So Fluttery was stamped on the Flutterby die. I accented with those amazing Shine Bright sequins!

So, you want to be on a design team?!

One of the questions I'm asked most often is...how do I get to be on a design team?

Finding a spot on a design team is often as simple as applying to a call!

SugarPea Designs is having an open call, and you could be our next designer!

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Something Simple

We have an awesome new sponsor, Unity Stamp Company!  Unity provided each of the Curtain Call designers with an Itty Bitty stamp set for the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge: Something Simple!  The LEAD of this challenge will receive this package of goodies from Unity Stamp Company!

I thought the inspiration graphic looked a little beachy - perfect for this Summer & Happy stamp from Unity! I kept my card very clean and simple, angling my panel and accenting with washi tape and wood veneer to stand in for the whitewashed panels in the photo.

June SFYTT! Little Baby...

Hello friends! We're in the middle of a long weekend here in New Zealand - just as well - I'm super busy with the party planning for next weekend's toddler bash! I can't believe I'm almost mama to a 2 year old!

I guess I've had babies on the brain, thinking about when Jackson was younger, so I made a sweet baby card with the new June SFYTT.

Here's my card!

I paired Lots to Say with Petals 'n Posies for my slightly shabby chic card. I used distress inks for the flower stamping, deliberately going for a not-so-crisp look and sponging a second layer of color onto the largest flower. I've also used the Double Edge Scallop Border along the horizontal panel.

Here's a peek inside my card...

Inside I've used Beautiful Banners and the matching Confetti Cuts!
