I coloured the ship and sentiment from Learning to Sail with copics and fussy cut around the image. The sails were paper pieced. I stamped the wheel from Strong Anchor on some woodgrain paper and cut it with the Nautical Die Set. I added lots of sponging, distressing, some twine and a little stitching to finish it all off.
Here's the inside...
I added a banner and layered the awesome Scroll die, stamped with the matching Scroll Plain Jane. An anchor finishes the simple inside.
I've just ordered a bunch of gorgeous Christmas Verve so hopefully I can make a start on my holiday cards...you can shop too - it's sale time!!
Since World Card Making Day is the official start to the holiday card making season, Verve has a 25% off sale on Christmas stamps this weekend only!
It's time for you to go visit with the so-talented-it-should-be-illegal Susan! Enjoy the rest of the hop!
