I made this card for two challenges, the April Get Your Diva On challenge, and this weeks SCS colour combo. Normally I dislike recipe challenges....but Amber's diva challenge was so cool, the recipe depended on your first initial! My recipe was to use rhinestones, lace, glitter, make a long and tall card using green, yellow and pink!
I pulled out what I think has to be my favourite Verve set ever. Polka dots, flowers and butterflies - you just can't go wrong! Hopefully you can see all the recipe elements - if you're looking for the glitter, I ran those banners through my xyron, and they are coated in crystal fine glitter from Martha Stewart.
Inside I've left a nice long panel for writing a message and couldn't resist adding more bling and another cute flower. Have a wonderful day, thanks for stopping by!

what a cool recipe challenge I like how yours turned out, funny how we end up liking what we create when we finish a cool challenge.
ReplyDeleteOh that glitter technique is rather nice ... I'm really enjoying the 'freedom' your cards seem to have lately, so many beautiful papers and products you're using and stunning results every time!
ReplyDeleteSarah, this is absolutely stunning!!! I love everything about it - so many wonderful details to look at! TFS :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a special card this is!
ReplyDeleteSorry haven't popped by recently ... but (as you probably know) my dad had a heart attack 2 weeks ago ... it is school holidays ... my son turned 13 yesterday ... and my eldest daughter is in labour as I type! I am excited about my 1st grandchild ... but it is a long hard labour and I am a bit distracted.
