I used the awesome Mojo 185 sketch (I have to find time to play more of Julee's sketches, they are amazing!) and the colours from Color Throwdown 136 - LOVE this combo!
Permit me a moment of ego? I love this card! Those birds are just too cute. The stamps are from Verve's Anniversary Birds set. The papers are the Stella and Rose Mabel pack that served as inspiration for the colour challenge. I HAD to work that wood print in as my neutral - the 5th Anniversary is 'Wood' so it was perfect!
The rolled flowers are, of course, MFT Die-namics as are the jumbo scallops.
Apologies for the bad photo of the inside, I had to take it with the flash before I wrote all the mushy stuff!
Ok, my coffee has kicked in - time to go jump into some poetry critique!
Stamps: Anniversary Birds (Verve Stamps) Cardstock: Kraft, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla (SU) Paper: Stella & Rose - Mabel (MME) Ink: Graphite Black (Brilliance) Early Espresso (SU) Dies: Jumbo Scallops, Rolled Rose and Mini Rolled Rose Die-namics (MFT Stamps) Oval Nestabilities (Spellbinders) Other: Button (SU) Jumbo Brads (Making Memories) Ribbon (American Crafts) Embossing Folder (Provocraft) Twine (MFT Stamps)
very pretty! I love what you did with the sketch!
ReplyDeleteliz :o)
so cute and what a perfect card for your 5th wedding anniversary. Those birds are super cute. With my pity party yesterday I forgot to ask how your lovely day was on Friday. How clever you are multi tasking....good luck with getting that assignment completed. I know you can do it, but before you get stuck into it again have another coffee and read a chapter of a book or pick up a magazine.
ReplyDeleteThis card is so ROCKIN' in so many different ways! I love love love that stamp set and I love what you did with the colors and the woodgrain paper. Oh, this is FAB!!! Thanks for joining us at the Color Throwdown!
