Countdown to {Birthday} Confetti! Winning - Card in a Box

Hello! Welcome to the first day of peeks at the May Reverse Confetti release!

This release is extra special, because it is Reverse Confetti's 1st birthday! Woohoo! Congrats to Jen, and if you read this - THANK YOU! I love being on the Confetti Crew SO much!

There are lots of prizes to be had this release - leave a comment here and on all the sneek peek posts this week for your chance at TWO prizes - a $25 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti Store...and...the ENTIRE MAY RELEASE! That's 6 stamp sets and 6 Confetti Cuts!

I'm playing with a fun new set today, Winning with matching Confetti Cuts! I'm also using Oh My Stars - a must have die set!

I've been wanting to try a card in a box for awhile - these are all over blogland right now! I followed a tutorial and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the base came together - leaving me lots of time to have fun decorating!

The trophy from Winning was colored with copics and all the stars were cut with the Oh My Stars confetti cuts. I gave the stars a coat of glossy accents for lots of shine. The pop up pieces are on strips of acetate.

Here's how the card/box looks when it's all folded up!

You can see all the designers with projects to share today on the Reverse Confetti Blog. Be sure to leave comments by noon CST on May 7th, and winners will be announced at 5pm the same day on the Reverse Confetti Blog and Facebook page!

Speaking of Facebook - there will be ANOTHER prize available, look for the comment to win thread for a second chance at a $25 gift certificate! It's our birthday, but you might get a gift!

Stamps: Winning (Reverse Confetti) Paper: Mon Ami (Basic Grey) Ink: Nautical Blue, Gray, Northern Pine, Yellow (Memento Luxe) Dies: Confetti Cuts: Winning, Oh My Stars (Reverse Confetti) Other: Acetate, Glossy Accents

  1. Wow, This is an amazing " card in a box"!!! All the dies that you used are simply great and different. A lovely ensemble of all the elements and I like the use of acetate sheet for popping up the stars very much.
