Hi there! It's day three of MFT Teasers and today I have an arty card to share using lots of new goodies!
I've used the fun Abstract Art set to make a cool base for my card today.
Be sure to visit the MFT Blog for all the deets about this month's release, designer links and info on how you can be in to win!
My card started with the Smooth White layer. I stamped the chicken wire from the previously released Distressed Background Blocks in Steel Blue ink. Then I used a few different splatters from Abstract Art on my background piece.
I inked Art Expression Text in Sno Cone, Berrylicious, Blu Raspberry and Steel Blue for an ombre effect. I stamped it on a Jumbo Scallop Die-namic.
I've used a Washi Tape Die-namics to stamp part of the sentiment.
I stamped the dots in white on red cardsock as a background for my die-cut sentiment. Muse was cut from Blu Raspberry cardstock with the By The Letters alphabet and covered in stickles. I finished off with some rhinestones.
Inside the card I used one of the awesome Bold Greeting sentiments, and finished off the art theme with a fun Paintbrush Die-namics.
Here are the wonderful My Favorite Things goodies I've used today:
Stamps: Abstract Art, Art Expression Text, Bold Greetings, Distressed Background Blocks, Darling Dots (MFT Stamps) Paper: Steel Blue, Smooth White (MFT Cardstock) Real Red (SU) Ink: Premium Dye Ink in Sno Cone, Berrylicious, Blu raspberry, Steel Blue, Kraft (MFT Stamps) Dies: MFT Die-namics - Jumbo Scallop Border, Paintbrush, By The Letters, Washi Tape (MFT Stamps) Other: Rhinestones, Stickles
Love the card. Made me giggle. That's what my hubby always says to me. Still crazy after all these years.
